January 2011: French ski resort will organize Poker Week and Poker Tour
Deemed to be the destinations of skiing, the French mountain summits change their marketing policy for the New Year 2011. Original events are scheduled in the calendar of French ski resorts including ice sculpting competition and diving but mainly poker tournaments that take place respectively on the 2 Alpes and Montgenèvre ski resorts. Two poker appointments will take place over a period of at least 5 days in these places and it will be opportunities to promote the discipline even if poker tour organized in the Hautes-Alpes promises exciting rewards.
To motivate tourists used to slide on the 2 Alpes ski resort, near Grenoble, initiations, demonstrations, lectures, but especially freeroll poker tournaments in several variants such as SNG, or satellites will be in the program of Poker Week that will take place for almost a week, from January 9 to 14, 2011. For this atypical event, organizers arranged free access. Moreover, if gambling won't be allowed, by cons, the best participants will receive prizes. A few days of this appointment in 2 Alpes will happen the Poker Tour du Montgenèvre, Hautes-Alpes, from January 17 to 21, 2011. A prestigious tournament of 5 days which will be attended by renowned professionals as well as amateurs of the discipline. There will be no entrance fee but big prizes are at key of this confrontation at the peak of French high mountains, the first prize will be a trip for two to Las Vegas.
