APT Asian Series: The Asian Poker Tour with modest buy-in
Poker in Asia is booming such as around the world. The famous circuit Asian Poker Tour (APT) has always knew a lot of success since its launch. The tournament organizers are targeting international players and offer a buy-in quite high. To allow local and regional poker enthusiasts who cannot perform such a buy-in to participate in an international event, the organizers of the APT decided to create a new circuit named APT Asian Series which particularity is a moderate buy-ins. The event will take place in several cities in Asia and for its launch, the city of Cebu in the Philippines was chosen as host of the first stage of this series of tournament.
Poker enthusiasts of this continent will therefore give appointment in Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Cebu from January 10 to 17, 2011 for this new tournament designed especially for them. This event consists of 7 major poker events including a Main Event of $ 1,130 buy-in, six side events with entry fee between $ 125 and $ 4,500 for the High Roller. Qualifying satellites will also be organized throughout the tournament. The Philippines will host at least two events during the APT 2011. After the APT Asian Series Cebu, Asian poker fans will meet again in Manila from March 28 to April 3 for the next stage of the APT. Players will be expected in the poker room of the World Resort to participate in the Main Event of $ 2,700 buy-in.
