WPT Marrakesh 2010: The 7th final was the good for Sebastian Homann
Five French, two Germans, an Austrian and a Swede, they composed the final table of the World Poker Tour Marrakesh 2010 (WPT) which was played at the casino Es Saadi in Morocco. Another world tournament that ended on the night of Tuesday, November 30, 2010 with as new title holder the German Sebastian Homann, who was the chip leader since the first two days. Thus, he gave no chance to his eight other competitors during this final. By participating in seven major championships and qualified each time for the final table, this seventh final in Morocco proved to be good for this player from Hamburg. The new WPT champion in 2010 in Marrakech won the sum of 244,508 as a bonus with a ticket for the Main Event of the WPT Bellagio in Las Vegas, in May 2011. This prize is the biggest gain in the career of Homann and it added to the $ 183,537 he accumulated since 2008.
Once having eliminated his compatriot Dominik Nitsche, a player that he considered as a formidable opponent, Sebastian Homann had no longer to worry about eliminating in turn the other candidates in the ultimate battle. Thus, the final ranking of the WPT Marrakesh 2010 appointed Guillaume Cescut as runner-up with 135,831. Followed respectively by Sebastien Compte ( 90,554), Felix Oberauer who won 72,439, Guillaume de la Gorce with 54,334, Dominik Nitsche who received 36,220, Johan Williamsson who pocketed 28,977, Julien Labussiere returned with 25,356 and Patrick Muleta end the rankings with 19,920.
