GUKPT 2010: The grand final of London won by Leon Bui
After various stops in seven British towns from Bolton, to Walsall, Coventry, Luton, Manchester, Brighton and Blackpool, London was the final stage of the Grosvenor United Kingdom Poker Tour 2010 (GUKPT). A grand finale that brought together some 207 top p English layers such as the champion of Luton step Neil Channing, the champion of the European Poker Tour Vilamoura Toby Lewis, Vicky Coren or even James Akenhead, the November Nine 2009, but unfortunately, could not reach this ultimate final of GUKPT. This grand finale of the live tournament circuit the most expected in the United Kingdom smiled to Leon Bui who stole the top spot and a sum of £ 144,905.
Located at the fifth position in the chip count of the final table, Leon Bui distinguished himself by eliminating first Lennart V to continue its momentum and eventually finding himself in heads'up with Nicolas Irving. A final confrontation that turned to the advantage of Leon Bui. Thus, Nicolas Irving is the runner-up of this grand final at the Grosvenor Victoria Casino in London and pocketed £ 98,325. The other six ranked in the first place of the GUKPT 2010 are : Third Chaz Chattha £ 63,395, fourth Ash Miah who won £ 37,520, fifth Song Lee who left the tournament with £ 28,460, sixth Martin Green with a gain £ 23,290, seventh Paul Alterman who won £ 18,110 and eighth Andreas Afeldt who pocketed a sum of £ 14,230.
