Ternois: A Pokerthon will animate the city this week-end
The city of Frévent will be well animated this coming weekend with the telethon that will take place during the three days of the first week-end of December 2010. In addition, this event could attract more a lot of particpants thanks to the program rather original concocted by the secretary of the association Fish'n Shark of Sainte-Catherine-lès-Arras. Indeed, William Philippot propose in conjuction with this act of charity a poker tournament to be held for the benefit of the Telethon. With the success of Pokerthon at St. Catherine last year, the current secretary of the association Fish'n Shark rissue that with this first Pokerthon of Frevent. As this kind of animation can be done only once in the year and as poker is a game of chance prohibited to the public in France, the Pokerthon, which will be held this Sunday, December 5, 2010 at Frévent, will be a tournament that will accommodate up to 80 people divided in tables of eight players.
To otherwise comply with the spirit of the telethon, no entrance fee will be imposed but each participant will offer the gift he would donnate in the box, as explained by the association secretary who does not forget the city of Frévent. Regarding the prize to distribute for the best classified, there are many award from local traders. To make this first Pokerthon event of Frévent more than friendly, about fifty members of the Fish'n Sharks association will join the city of Frévent to attract fans of the discipline in the city of Ternois and that of Somme Department. All this in order to see how the people of this region practice poker.
