2nd Sultaness Tournament: New battle of great women poker players in Marrakesh
A very special attention will be given to the second edition of the Tournament Sultaness will take place on Friday 19 and Saturday 20, November, 2010 in Marrakesh. This charitable poker tournament exclusively for women will be played on the sidelines of the World Poker Tour (WPT) which is currently held in the Moroccan capital for 4 days. Despite the absence of the defending champion and the winner of 2008, Alice Taglioni, the new edition of the Tournament of Sultaness will indeed see the confrontation of 10 known players in the discipline at the Casino Es Saadi in Marrakesh.
Starting by the vice-champion of the tournament two years ago, Estelle Denis, who is currently in top form after her performance at the World Championships 2009 and at the last WPT Amnéville. The other contestants will not be there also for tourism or for extras such as Liz Lieu, Caroline Diament, Valerie Benaim, Laurie Cholewa, Frédérique Bel or Karima Charni. As all players are supposed to represent their associations, for sure that the future ex-tennis player Tatiana Golovin and singer Helene Segara and Charlotte Acquitter will tempt all out to pocket the check for 10,000 offered on this occasion. A noble gesture from those heroines; who will play and give their best to make their small share of contribution in the financing of their respective associations.
