Master Classics of Poker: Bjerkmann shine once again in Amsterdam
Within five weeks, the poker world has only heard of the feat of Marcel Bjerkmann. This Norwegian player won major tournaments hold in the northern part of Europe during this month. Not later than during the end of last week, he again distinguished by winning the Master Classics of Poker in Amsterdam, a prestigious event of four days of 6,000 entry fee. After his recent success with a gain of 200,000 at the Belgian Championship in Namur, a month ago and a second place in the 1,000 side-event of the World Series of Poker Europe just a week ago which earned him a prize of 58,334, Marcel Bjerkmann has yet to speak about him at the Master Classics of Poker in Amsterdam.
Thanks to this victory, this player pocketed the tidy sum of 345,000 against the runner-up of that day, the Finnish Ville Haavisto who pocketed 300,408. The 8 other finalists of the Master Classics of Poker 2010 by order of ranking are: Khiem Nguyen, who won 141,930; Ivane Khazaradze with a gain of 108,315; Renkers Patrick picked up 93,375, Peter Nordin received 78,435, Kevin Vandersmissen returned with 63,495; Kristoffer Edberg delighted 48,555; John Cash had a gain of 33,615 and Willem Eilert pocketed 25,398. For the record, Marcel Bjerkmann alias p3rc4 online has already accumulated $ 639,527 in prize money.
