Poker room & Betting Show: A new date for April 2011
If the dates of last November 5, 6 and 7 were the dates originally set for the first holding of the poker room and sports and horse betting in France, it will finally take place early in the second quarter of next year. The reason given for the postponement of this great festival of poker and betting is the growing demand from stakeholders, including operators of online games who want to have more time to prepare for this great event scale. Moreover, this period would be sufficient for other operators still seeking their licenses from the French Regulatory Authority of Online Games (ARJEL).
The Poker room & Betting Show is considered as the biggest event that will showcase the different types of online games ever held in France. Therefore, the three days from April 1 to 3, 2011 will be an opportunity for professionals and players from all corner of the Hexagon to know, discuss and share their same passions that are poker, sports and horse betting. Moreover, various activities will be in the program of these three days as the poker competitions or attempted predictions of horse racing and debates in locally radio and television. If an area of 5,000 square meters was laid at the disposal of the four components Poker, Betting, Poker & and Horse Betting with over 80 exhibitors with more than 20 operators not to mention the some 20,000 visitors expected for this first show, it is evident that the organizers will have to correct their estimations.
