9th Mazagan Poker Million: A flash heads-up won by Samlane Phomveha
The Moroccan poker event Mazagan Poker Million seems to be successful to poker professionals from France. In its ninth year that had just ended and during which a field of 67 players has been observed, this new adventure was won by the French Samlane Phomveha. The tournament of 2,000 buy-in played for two days collected a prize pool of 1.3 million dirhams and saw the participation of some players who were present at the last World Poker Tour Amnéville. The two days tournament held in the complex of Mazagan Beach Resort in Morocco, with the same standing as hotel casinos in Las Vegas awarded the 40,000 for the winner, a player known by the nickname 'Sacre' after a fast head's up with Hugo Lemaire.
For Lemaire, despite his second place and 35,000 earning during this edition of Mazagan Poker Million, this player increases his acquired in Moroccan land since he won the title of the high-roller of 5,000 entry fee with 72,000 of earnings in a previous edition of the same tournament and the title of 5,000 of the Euro Finals of Poker 2010 (EFOP). Note also the performance of other participants as Mickaël Lancri who is ranked third in this tournament and who pocketed 13,600. In addition, the very familiar with Moroccan tournaments and title holder of the 1,800 of Marrakech in June 2010 for 40,000 winnings Najib Bennis occupied the seventh place with a gain of 6,900.
