EPT Barcelona: 19 tournaments and the Estrellas Poker Tour in the program
A new place will house the next and seventh season of the European Poker Tour of this autumn. This is the Arts Hotel which is the annex of the Gran Casino, the usual meeting place for poker players in the city of Barcelona. From November 21 to 27, 2010, a larger circuit will be available to players for a tournament program of about 20 events entering the in this new European event. Besides the main event for an entry price of 5,300, the European Poker Tour Barcelona will have a schedule consisting of 20 tournaments including the Spanish circuit of the Estrellas Poker Tour having the same structure as the France Poker Series with a buy-in of 330 and a total prize pool amounted to 50,000.
In addition, qualifying satellites for the Main Event is organized like a Super Satellite of 300 buy-in every Sunday with at key two packages worth 8,120. In the other side, there are satellites of low levels from 3 buy-in and rebuy for at least 5 seats in the Super Sat. In the same structure, EPT marathon tournaments are also planned for the days of Saturday and Sunday which principle is that of qualifying by stages. To win after the final step an EPT package, every player must pass the 4 rounds in addition to the live EPT event. As a reminder, EPT Barcelona 2009 brought together some 478 players for a prize pool of 3,382,000. Carter Philips was the big winner, winning the tidy sum of 850,000.
