Marrakesh Festival: Deepstack Open and World Poker Tour at the program
The Deepstack Open and the World Poker Tour (WPT) tournament series will be received by the Casino Es Saadi in Marrakesh during ten days in next November. After the tour of Aix-en-Provence, Dublin, Namur, Vilamoura and Vienna, the event will visit the Moroccan capital from next November 20 to 30 with a very attractive structure as usual. For the Deepstack Open of 550 buy-in, there will be a starting stack of 50,000 chips with levels of one hour during the three days of competition. In addition, many satellite and side events will mark the week leading up to the World Poker Tour Marrakesh. A short-handed Omaha of 500 euros and a NLHE of 1,800 are also in the calendar for two days.
Regarding the WPT, the organizers started from the success of 2009 which brought together 416 players to the occasion with a prize pool of around 2 million. The aim is to renew with the same organization as las year that is the buy-in of the tournament consisting of staying in the hotel partner of the event, a buffet throughout the day and dinner at the casino. The difference from the 2009 edition is the fee admission of the main event set at 5,000. Note that a satellite of 109 with a package guarantee of 6,000 in which the tournament fee itself, the airline ticket and the transportation to the hotel are included is held every Wednesday until November 10, 2010.
