Deepstack Vienna Open: The victory seized by Mario Karman
Poker enthusiasts gave appointment at Montesino Vienna in the Austrian capital, the last weekend to participate in the Deepstack Open. 503 players entered in the tournament by paying a buy-in of 550. Fans of poker of different origins formed the field : Austrian, German, Hungarian, French, Romanian, Polish, Italian... After three days of meeting, the 10 competitors at the final table finally demarcated. Note that half of the finalists were players from Hungary who were Octyan Norbert, Janos Toth, Roland Takacs, the chip leader of the day Lazslo Toth and Mario Karman. This huge Hungarian delegation confronted the three local players Thomas Leeb, Patrick Sykala and Wolfgang Wessin who were respectively eliminated in the 6th, 7th and 10th place and the Romanian Stan Manual (8th) and the Italian Dalassio Rosario (3rd).
The final heads'up clashed Mario Karman with his compatriot Lazslo Toth. The confrontation ended with the triumph of Karman who pocketed for this wonderful feat to gain 50,405. The Deepstack Vienna is considered as a success if talk about its turnout and the number of moderate buy-in events that took place there like the side event of 300 buy-in on Saturday with Ivicia Krizanac as champion and the 200 event of Sunday with Michael Bielik as champion. The next step of the Deepstack Open will take place in Marrakesh in November.
