Children's Institute Poker For Cause: Charity takes place at the Commerce Casino
On October 23, the Commerce Casino in Los Angeles will host its second annual charity tournament "Poker For Cause". The casino already hosted such an event last year and was successful in appointment as many celebrities fulfilled the tournament field, among whom figured pro players like Jamie Gold and Alex Outhred and also some famous actors and actresses like Jennie Garth and Jennifer Love Hewitt. For the next edition, organizers also rely on large crowds of enthusiasts to support this humble poker event to the benefit of Children's Institute organization. It is a charitable organization that helps child victims of domestic violence, abuse or neglect, a phenomenon that affects more than 17,000 children in the city.
The famous actress Camryn Manheim, Jason Alexander, Mimi Rogers and many other celebrities will participate with enthusiasm for the success of the event. During the day of October 23 so, the guests and players will make a spectacular entrance on the red carpet of the Commerce Casino in 11:30 am before joining the poker room of the casino to begin the tournament at 12:30 am. They will compete for the magnificent prize pool of $ 15,000, a place for the World Poker Tour (WPT) Celebrity Invitational 2011 taking place at the same place on February 18, 2011 and many other wonderful prizes. To be part of the competitors at the Children's Institute Poker for Cause, simply make a donation of $ 250, and for the public, admission fee by donation from $ 75 was set.
