TV Series : The daily of poker players as theme of Whales
The success of poker is no longer limited to the various international events that continue to grow in the 7th art or that draws lots of spectators for a while. Even today, this discipline is becoming a daily bread of American viewers with the project that prepares the producers of the series Weeds of the U.S. television network Showtime. Indeed, Jenji Kohan and Matthew Salsberg, creators of the TV series Weeds will try to recreate as faithfully as possible the world of this game with "Whales" where the daily life of poker players who just come to move in Las Vegas to compete in the World Series will be spread over the small screen.
For now, no specific detail is yet known about this new project being finished but what is certain is that the creators of the new series Whales will broadcast thirty minutes of each episode on Showtime. The life of a group of young poker players, all decided to shine during the World Series of Poker will be the main ingredient of the future television series which release date will be fixed in the coming days. Another challenge awaits in perspective Jenji Kohan and Matthew Salsberg, the brains of Whales and the creators of the hit series Weeds, which not only has been renewed for a 7th season but it is crowned with several Emmy and Golden Globe Awards.
