WSOP Circuit: A relatively low attendance rate for its passage in the Indiana
As previously announced, the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOPC), is in stop in Indiana since October 2, 2010. This is the second step of the 2010-2011 season and poker enthusiasts were invited to join Elizabeth in the Horseshoe Southern Indiana to participate in its various events organized for the occasion. Note that 10 bracelets will be distributed to the best players in this series and each player will have the opportunity to earn points for the qualifying for the WSOP Circuit National Championship in 2011 taking place at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on May 2011. It will be a big TV show where the 100 qualified players will compete to be part of the top 10 awards. Note that the champion at this tournament in May will receive a WSOP bracelet.
The Main Event of $ 1,600 buy-in of the WSOPC Indiana began with 289 players. Despite the promotion in play and advertisements for the tournament, the event hasn't attracted big player. The few known players present at the tournament like Dwyte Pilgrim, TJ Cloutier, Lee Childs, Mark Kroon and Maurice Hawkins were all eliminated early. At the end of Day 1, only 66 competitors were qualified for Day 2 and Jorge Solozamo was crowned as chip leader of the day with 294,700 chips in his possession. Are among the top competitors Miguel Borrero with 261,000 chips in hand and Kyle Knecht. Ari Engel, Robert Cheung and Shiva Dudani are also still in the competition and let us remind that they are among the players who received a bracelet at the previous stages of the WSOPC. Dudani is also the leader in number of points for a place in the National Championship.
