Poker Club Beaucaire : A first tournament in virtual money
The first tournament of the Poker Club Beaucaire, in France took place during the end of the afternoon of the first weekend of October 2010. This first-ever tournament freeroll which stake are made exclusively in virtual money, saw the participation of 17 players on two gaming tables at the Salle Saint-Pierre-de-Rive. Each player was entitled to 10,000 chips and blinds starting at 50 and 100, to double every twenty minutes. Considered as a meeting of enthusiasts, this first friendly meeting of poker enthusiasts nonetheless reward with prizes the best three competitors.
The new association Poker Club Beaucaire, directed by Quentin Cadet, a club born a few months ago, has as primary mission to promote poker in its department. To do this, it aims to organize local tournaments in order to bring neophytes or experienced in this discipline at the table. The club president explains that the association wants to be a useful tool to train new players with a legal and official framework whose final objective is to participate in tournaments through links with other associations or even the city. The team of the Poker Club Beaucaire even said that they are ready to collaborate with other partners in organizing tournaments. Quentin Cadet also believes in the benefits received from poker in the strategic development of each member. Please note that its next tournament will be held on Saturday, December 4th, 2010, in the same place.
