Marrakesh Poker Festival: An appointment not to miss
Morocco will host a poker festival that will gather famous French and international poker players at Casino Es Saadi in Marrakesh. This is the World Poker Tour Marrakesh 2010 (WPT) to be held from November 27th to 30th, 2010. Won by the French Christophe Savary last year, the WPT Marrakesh is a major event that attracts many enthusiasts. Thus, this Moroccan step of the WPT will know the participation of players like Roger Hairabedian, Andy Black, Liz Lieu, Sandra Naujocks and also Liv Boeree. But from Saturday, November 20th, they can also take part in the preliminary tournament including a DeepStack Open of 500 + 50 buy-in. The organizers hope to gather a field between 350 and 400 participants at this tournament.
Es Saadi Casino has all the qualities required to host such a great event because it has a beautiful setting with very competitive rates. This explains the fact that the organizers have chosen it as the host of the tournament. And thanks for the holding of this Marrakesh Poker Festival, the efforts of Roger Hairabedian to transform Morocco as the African capital of poker have been successful because the event had already gathered 416 players in 2009. So this year, about 500 participants are expected to participate in the Marrakesh WPT Main Event which will crown its champion 2010 on November 30th. From November 20th, an exciting appointment is waiting players and spectators for a Moroccan WPT coupled with the Open Deepstack Es Saadi Casino.
