Warrior Poker - Celebrity Poker Tournament: A charity tournament for veterans
Sergeant John Jones and his retired U.S. Marine Corps partners created the Wall Street Warfighters Foundation (WSWF) in 2009. It is an organization that trains veterans of war in Iraq and Afghanistan to begin a career in the financial industry. Most of the time, soldiers return from there with disabilities and they need help to start a new life. In order to help and give them a chance to renter easier to civilian life, despite their disabilities, the WSWF therefore organizes a poker tournament called Celebrity Poker Warrior tournament to be held at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, New York City on Thursday from 6:30 pm. The success of this event will let the Foundation fund their training project for war veterans.
Many famous personalities like Tony Sirico, the journalist Geraldo Rivera, the famous poker player Lacey Jones, Contessa Brewer, Pete Dawkins, Kelly Perdew and many others will honor the event and contribute to this charity poker tournament for the benefit of these future employees of Wall Street. Note that the top 4 finalists of this tournament will win great rewards like a watch encrusted with diamonds worth $ 10,000 offered by Jacob & Co, tickets for football match between the Army team at the Notre Dame team at Yankee Stadium, wonderful preferred places at Monmouth Park and a football signed by famous players in New York.
