LAPT Rosario: Sansour wins the title
The great final of the Latin American Poker Tour (LAPT) Argentina was held at City Center Casino of Rosario. The Latin American tournament gathered a field of 254 participants that allowed to collect a prize pool that totaled $ 1,176,200, a nice sum that allowed the winner to pocket $ 322,280. With such an award, the competition was eventful and consisted benefits from each competitor. Among the 254 registered, the 8 finalists at the final table were composed by Martin Sansour, Bolivar Palacios, Daniel Ades, William Ross, Roberto Bianchi, Matthias Habernig Ivan Saul and Nico Fierro. Nico Fierro and Ivan Saul were the first competitors eliminated. And after elimination, the attention of the poker community present at this championship focused towards the Australian Mathias Habernig who already holds a title at this tournament of LAPT Florianopolis. Unfortunately, he left the game early and ended at the 6th position.
After the Habernigs departure, it took a long time before another player leaves the gaming table because the game was pretty tight. After Roberto Bianchi, William and Daniel Rosset Ades gave up and placed respectively at the 5th, 4th and 3rd position, Sansour and Palacios played an enthralling final heads'up. Despite the Palacioss will to go till the end, luck was on Sansours side who became champion of the grand final of the LAPT Rosario, an excellent track record which allowed him to add a prestigious trophy and more than $300,000 to his prize list.
