London : The qualifying tournament in the European capital of poker more than deserved
London, the British capital is arguably the city that hosts the largest poker tournaments on the European continent. The English capital is thus considered to be the first city of poker in Europe before respectively Dublin Ireland, Tallinn Estonia, Barcelona Spain, Catalonia and Monte Carlo. Motivated also by the flexibility of the regulations on gambling thanks to the Gambling Act which is applied since 2007, London has accelerated the construction of casinos and clubs which are actually twenty-four, where the very famous is The Empire located near Leicester Square and tons of specializing clubs such as The Western, which allow British people to have fun while they play.
This success of the city known as the European Las Vegas did not stop at London poker but surpasses the national framework. Thus, for the year 2010 for example, since the end of August, the crowds of gamers worldwide to participate in many tournaments in London is unbelievable like the English Poker Open and the Poker in The Park qualified as the biggest free event in Europe in August, the World Poker Tour, which ended in the beginning of September and the grand finale of the World Series of Poker which will take place from next Tuesday at the Casino Empire or also the European Poker Tour which starts the following day at the Hilton London Metropole.
