Dublin and Bordeaux: Two big tournaments held during the weekend
The last weekend, the poker community in Dublin and Bordeaux attended two major poker tournaments which were the Poker Open in Dublin and the Barriere Poker Tour (BPT) of Bordeaux. Thus, the Ballsbridge Inn Dublin was invaded by 313 players who came to compete for the title and the reward of this event of 550 buy-in. This second edition of the tournament was played with a magnificent structure, which certainly explains this success. The final table saw to qualifying of major poker players as the finalist of the France Poker Tour 2010 Stéphane De Sieter, Cyril Calestroupat, Nicolas Vallée, Stephane Di Crescenzo and the two final competitors of the heads'up Romain Mahot, the fourth finalist of Deepstack of Namur and the Irishman Alan Trueick. After three hours of confrontation, the Irish grabbed the victory and the price of 40,142. This is one of his best achievements after a 22th place in the tournament Irish Open 2010 and a final table at the Irish Poker Tour 2006.
In Bordeaux, Jerome Jacq became champion of BPT after ousting the Mouloud Zoubaa in the final heads'up. So he performs then an excellent course which let him pocketed 48,000 and the two players have also won their seats for the grand finale of the BPT. In the ladies event, Sandra Gleyal clinched the title and left the place or runner up to her competitor Aurelie Quélain. And two women players will be also present at the Ladies final in Enghien-les-Bains. The Barriere Poker Tour gives appointment to fans of poker on October 22nd to 24th at the casino of Lille. This will be the last step before the grand finale.
