France Poker Series: The schedule of the first season announced
The first edition of the France Poker Series will take place during the three-day weekend of September 24th to 26th, 2010. The spa town of Divonne-les-Bains will have the privilege to host the season 1 of the FPS. A total of 6 tournaments will mark the program of this new tournament : for the day of September 24th at 8 pm, there will be a satellite of 175 + 25 buy-in for the Main Event with a maximum of 300 players. At 11:55 pm, another satellite of 175 + 25 buy-in for the Main Event with a maximum of 200 players will be played. On September 25th at 2 :00 pm, it will be the beginning of the Main Event of 1100 + 100 buy-in limited to 400 players maximum. At 8 :00 pm, Freezeout tournament with an entry fee of 550 + 50 open to 120 players at the maximum including the eliminated on Day 1 is opened.
For the last day of September 26th at 2:00 pm will begin the Day 2 of the Main Event and a Knockout Freezeout tournament where each player eliminating an opponent will earn a little money in addition to the standard prize pool. The buy-in is 270 + 30 and players are set to a number of 200 maximum. And fro the reward, besides the promised gains at each stage, the winning player of the season will receive a package for a stage of the EPT Season 7, a buy-in and accommodation for all FPS of the Season 2 and a sponsorship contract with the organizer throughout the season two of the France Poker Series. Furthermore, poker fans will have the opportunity to greet players like Julien Brécard, Vanessa Rousso, Marion Nedellec and Mylene Cogan. Registrations are already open for this first France Poker Series.
