Michael Mizrachi: Complaint of a sponsor against The Grinder
Being a poker star is not always obvious, there is the good side of things but there are also the bad. That's what happen to the American player Michael Mizrachi "The Grinder" who were convoked by the federal court in Texas where a poker company sued him. According to the complaint, Michael Mizrachi contracted with that company in July 2009 with a clause stipulating that the player should wore caps and badges bearing the image of the company for about twenty tournament in exchange of a sum of $ 150,000, 1.75% stake of the company and the support of expenses on tournaments. Everything was normal until the day when "The Grinder" signed another contract with another poker company. That's where the conflict begun when the first contracting company complaint to court due to breach of the agreement signed with it. Michael Mizrachi and the second company of poker has not yet reacted against this trial.
For information, Michael Mizrachi who has 29 years is simply one of the qualified for the November Nine of this year, making him a player with enormous interest to advertisers like poker rooms. His wish was to become a doctor but ultimately it's poker that has taken over and he decided to leave university to pursue his passion. In his prize list, the young player have among others, two WPT titles, a WSOP bracelet, a WSOP Main Event final table, 24 WSOP cashes, and more than $ 9,600,000 in earnings.
