Partouche Poker Tour: The participants for the final table known
Last Tuesday, September 7th, inside the majestic Palm Beach Casino in Cannes, the 9 players who will compete in the final table of the Partouche Poker Tour (PPT) tournament were known. This event showed tremendous success because 3,346 players in total have participated in the various championships qualifiers organized during the PPT. During the main event, the 746 registrants attended a prize pool of 5,684,160, a real record for this circuit which kept its promise as the greatest poker tournament of the Hexagon and of the whole Europe. Moreover, among the competitors on their way to the November Nine of the PPT, three of them are French players as Fabrice Soulier, holder of the second largest stack 3,652,000, Raphael Kroll (2,390,000 chips) and Cyril Andre who have the lowest stack of the party whose 600,000. France therefore have a hope of winning the cup. Note that the price for the champion is 1.3 million.
While some big players at international level like Phil Ivey, Tom Dwan, Gus Hansen, Michael Mizrachi or Erik Seidel unfortunately can no longer be part of the race, other stars of poker still fill the seats of the final table. At the topping of the list ranks is the beautiful and talented American Vanessa Selbst with 3.951 million chips in hand which is the largest stack of the table. The Egyptian Raouf Ibrahim (3,492,000), the German Ali Tekintamgac (3,289,000), and Finland's Tommi Etelapera (3,129,000) are the opponents who follow closely and have acquired a large chip lead and enough experience in the poker world. But the German Tobias Reinkemeier, winner of the World Poker Tour Barcelona (819,000) and Dane Soren Kongsgaard (1,073,000) are also opponents.
