Partouche Poker Tour : Many stars eliminated at the Day 2
The tournament Partouche Poker Tour (PPT), which began last Thursday, September 3rd assembled a broad field of 764 participants consisting of many simple and professional poker players. The organizers have assembled a huge prize pool valued at 5,684,160 which will be shared between the 81 best players in the game. A priori, this third season of PPT announces huge success. The 343 survivors have begun the second day of competition yesterday at the majestic Palm Beach Casino in Cannes. Some stars of poker which is part of the field, however, experienced a defeat early as Phil Ivey, Michael Mizrachi, Gus Hansen, Fabien Perrot, Valentin Messina, Francis Balmigère and Pedro Canali. While some will still continue the race just like Phil Laak, Vanessa Selbst, Anthony Roux, Nicolas Levi, Arnaud Mattern, Nicolas Delvaux, Tristan Clémençon, Jean Robert Bellande, Fabrice Soulier and Antoine Saout.
A priori, the French players are well represented for the rest of this great event in Cannes. 136 competitors head back to the poker tables of Palm Beach after this Day 2. Note that the champion will leave not only with a nice trophy but also with an excellent reward of 1.3 million. An enormous sum that many players in the competition covet. For now, Jacob Rosmussen leads the race with 812,800 chips in hand. In second place is Mark Inizan, holder of the second biggest stack of 662,800. And in the tenth position is Cyril Andrew with 337,900 chips in his possession.
