3 Länder Poker Tour: The coronation for the Italian Pierluca Salassa
The tournament 3 Länder Poker Tour Beach of Warnemünde in Germany, which brought together 133 players just ended. Some French pro joined the Spielbank casino located on the edge of the Baltic Sea to participate in the 2,200 Main Event buy-in for this tournament, like Valentine Messina, Leonardo Truche, Gael Seydoux but also Mathieu Le Montagner. Unfortunately, they have all experienced defeat and the hope of French players sat on the only French in the list of finalists in the person of Cedric Hiblot. Yesterday, the three finalists of the Länder Poker Tour clashed on game table to determine the winner of the event. After a surprising exit of Stephan Klam in the 9th place, it was the turn of players having the lowest stack to leave one to one the table. Thus, Guenther Bauer took the 8th place and Cedric Hiblot followed him at the 7th place after suffering an attack of the Italian Salassa. For his performance, he pocketed a bonus of 10,800.
The Swede Michael Johansson, Tim Holland's Van der Zwet and the Ghanaian Ismael Bojang also suffered the same fate. And having done all he could, the German Robin Kazemieh rolled to the third place leaving his compatriot Christian Oswald face the Italian Pierluca Salassa at the final heads'up. Ultimately, the Italian was too strong and took over the title, Salassa collected the first prize of 85,800 while the German should content with the runner up prize of an amount of 61,200 . The next meeting of this poker tournament will be held in Hamburg from October 21st to 25th, 2010.
