World Poker Tour Legends: Place to the final table
After four days of competition at the Bicycle Casino in Los Angeles, the World Poker Tour Legends (WPT) finally revealed the six competitors who will sit at the final table. Some of the finalists have already made great achievements in the WPT circuit to mention players like Kyle Wilson, who was a finalist in 2008, and finished in 6th place as Tom Lee, who also finished in 6th place at the finale of the Season 2. Although most of these finalists are still unknown to the general public, it must be said that they are all talented players, including three former WPT finalist, an online poker pro and two players who accumulated excellent gains in playing cash games. The only player missing from the final table is Jonathan Little. Indeed, after a very promising Day 3, Little was eliminated in the 12th place at the Day 4.
Jonathan Little therefore missed his chance to join the ranks of Carlos Mortensen and Gus Hansen as the only player to win three WPT titles. Among the prominent players who had to leave the game before the final are Tyler Cornell and Wade Woelfel. Andrew Frankenberger, the chip leader of the Day 4 who maintained his advantage managed for his part to be among the finalists. Thus, he will start the final with the biggest stack of 3.015 million chips. But it won't nevertheless an easy task because Tom Lee with 2.915 million chips and Kyle Wilson holds the third largest stack with a total of 2,854,000 tokens are extremely formidable opponents. The three other competitors who will compete for the title are Jared Jaffee, Tom Briband and Franco Brunetti.
