EPT Tallinn Day 4: Mattern as chipleader
Seven hours and thirty minutes of play elapsed before the eight finalists among the 25 contenders to pocket 400,000, the award to the winner of the first stage of the season 7 of the European Poker Tour Tallinn were known. At the top spot of the final table is the former title holder of the EPT Prague in 2007, the French Arnaud Mattern, who is attempting to do once again his performance made three years ago. Currently, he holds 3.72 million chips, representing 30% of the chips still in play. Two other players should also be followed closely on the day of August 16th, it is about the Norwegian who were qualified online, ranked second, Kevin Stani, considered as the best value of the current European poker tour with 2.586 million chips and the third in the standings, Konstantin Bilyauer holding 2,498,000 chips and who eliminated in his passage during this tournament two big players who are the Russian Ivan Demidov and the former chip leader Bukara Perica.
Besides these top three list of the final table, five other players take part in the race offered to pocket 400,000 of this first stage of the 7th edition of the EPT 2010. This is Mikko Jaatinen who has 1,166,000 chips, Steven van Zadelhoff who will start with 805,000 chips, Bassam Elnajjar who hold 744,000 chips, Nicolo Calia, who has 637,000 chips and Dmitry Vitkind who has 502,000 chips.
