Italian Poker Tour Venice: Tamas Lendvai seized the trophy
The Italian Poker Tour Venice crowned its champion in the person of Tamas Lendvai. Note that this magnificent tournament brought together a field of 505 participants of whom 227 were registered for the Day 1A and 278 for the Day 1B creating a staggering prize pool of 979,000, a record in this circuit. All these fans of poker fight all for the title or at least to be part of the paid listing that the organizers have limited to the number of 72 players. And after a thrilling clash, the 8 finalists finally demarcated. Tekitamgac Ali started as chip leader of the final table with 2,254,000 chips in hand. He was therefore the better player of the game. The other competitors were Toby Lewis (2,117,000), Davide Cerrato (2.03 million), Giovanni La Padula (914,000), Andras Kovacs (815,000), Cristiano Guerra (806 000), Sandro Mazzei (731 000).
The Hungarian Tamas Lendvai had the lowest stack which was just 429,000 chips but this did not prevent this player of 38 years old to impose himself face to his opponents. And with a playing style quite particular to him, he won even the final heads'up face to his opponent the Italian Davide Cerrato. Indeed, Lendvai deserves the coronation because he repeatedly demonstrated his great competence during his 4 years career as a pro player of poker and his outcome at the North American Poker Tour Caribbean Poker is eloquent enough to define his talent. Thus this year, he grabbed a beautiful title with the first prize of 235,000. With this colossal sum, his tournament cash now stands at $ 485.884. And for his performance on poker tables, it is certain that he will still speak of him in the future.
