EPT Deauville: Change of address
The European Poker Tour, one of the biggest tournaments on the poker world will be like every year have a step down in Normandy and it will be from 25th to 31st January 2011. This confirms once again that France is among the steps in this popular competition. Recall that last year, the Main Event of 5,300 rounded up 768 players for a prize pool of 3,686,400. A monstrous success to be remembered ! But next season will be marked by a change of its location. The International Centre of Deauville (CID) will now host the EPT instead of the traditional Hotel Majestic Barrière, located next door. More comfortable and more spacious, the CID has everything it needs to let competitors feel well and scroll through the event with confidence.
As usual, the tournament will bring together a large number of players limited at 1,000 according to organizers and by extension, French players hope to gain by being in their garden on one side and the opening to competition of online gaming will also motivate them. Organizers hope for a greater influx face to the poker craze now. The structure will remain the same as the event of 2009 : 30,000 chips and levels of 60 minutes on Day 1, 75 minutes for the rest of the tournament. The calendar will be known later with online satellites to participate there. Many packages are on the menu, players will be simply spoiled.
