Annette Obrestad: A successful summer despite some disappointments
The route of the Norwegian poker player celebrity Annette Obrestad duing the World Series of Poker 2010 has been followed closely by the poker community. Indeed, after her great feat in WSOP Europe, Obrestad has attracted the attention of poker fans and at her first WSOP in Las Vegas, her followers expected from her to accumulate successes. Unfortunately, Obrestad was unable to win a WSOP bracelet this summer. However, she certainly has an enormous talent for the game because she was qualified for four paid places what earned her a magnificent win of $ 40,000. In an interview she gave to Dave McCarthy of Bluff Magazine, Annette said she was a little disappointed with the outcome because she hoped to get at least a final table. But as any professional player, she remains confident in her future.
But if she doesn't really shine at the WSOP 2010, the poker prodigy has recorded an excellent track record in cash games during her stay in Las Vegas. She admitted she played after the tournament and during days off. She attended mostly Venetian casino. Obrestad is back with the tidy sum of $ 15,000, a sum that has stalled during her cash games. Poker fans can expect much better results from the young star at her participation in the next WSOP now that she accumulates experience. But in the meantime, Annette could even amaze her fans in other tournaments to her great skill. And after being absent in online poker rooms for 3 weeks, Obrestad will certainly return inside online players again to defend her quality of renowned pro gamer.
