Godfather of Poker : Doyle Brunson's autobiography in stores
Doyle Brunson has received in the poker world the reputation of being a living legend. During his career, he continued to amaze his fans and the poker community with his enormous talent. He was named 10 times world champion of poker and so far he continues to pursue a very successful career. But Brunson has had to face many difficulties before obtaining such a merit because at his beginning, the poker world was not highly respectable. In collaboration with the retired of Associated Press, Mike Cochran, Brunson says in his autobiography entitled "Godfather of Poker" his career as a professional poker. He therefore illustrates in this book his past before becoming the ace of poker known by the public.
He tells about the poker games he played with his friends including Amarillo Slim, Preston Roberts of Odessa Eagles Club and the Inn Pinkie Roden of Golden West in the 1960s. He did not also forgot to mention his wonderful encounter with his wife Louise, who worked as a pharmacist at Perkins Drug Store in South Chadbourne. At the time, he passed himself off as a bookmaker because he would not reveal to his wife his true profession. Brunson said he chose to become a poker pro as it is a very exciting job and full of challenge. But he also said that the money was part of his major motivations in the profession. Indeed, poker is a real source of money. And Brunson said he will continue to play until he feels the desire to win. But according to Brunson, "the most beautiful part of being a player is freedom ..... And memories ยป..... The book is already available in bookstores.
