The day of Wednesday, July 7th was marked by the entry into the arena of the best poker players in the world. With over 2,000 registered players in the second Day 1 of the Main Event of the World Series of Poker, tenors like Johnny Chan, twice time titled in 1987 and 1988, Phil Hellmuth, titled in 1989, not to mention Daniel Negreanu, Gus Hansen and Tom Dwan, beast of poker scene, Joe Cada, current title holder ... were all present. The Rio in the world capital of gambling, Las Vegas, honored to host this cloud of stars from around the world to compete to win the famous world poker championship 2010. French delegation too joined the tournament with an armada of people led, inter alia, by the couple Fabrice Soulier and Claire Renaut, Alexia Portal or the movie star Alain Roy. The godfather of French poker, Patrick Bruel never miss a great event like this. He was there, fit and feel at home.
Last Thursday on Day 1B, the other stars take part to the tournament like Antoine Saout, who finished 3rd in the last edition. But the most anticipated of all were Doyle Brunson and Barry Greenstein, men of great renown. The latter has a peculiarity: he dedicated his book to the player who beats him. We finish this list with Phil Ivey, aka "Tiger Woods of Poker", the man who shakes his counterparts. He is probably the most gifted player of his generation. Hostilities have already begun and that day will be an important day for the ace poker, because the uphill battle continues.
