Women Poker Hall of Fame: Harman and JJ Liu foreshadowed
The Women Poker Hall of Fame is an association founded in May 2007 by the Ladies International Poker Series. The association meets on a single platform elements of woman population who have accumulated great exploits in the poker world and aims to promote women's poker. On next Friday, September 3rd, the organization will nominate two players who will be part of this association during a ceremony at the Golden Nugget Casino in Las Vegas. The selection will cover seven women players who are chosen by a vote of the public as deserving such appointments. Among the candidates are Annie Duke, Betty Carey, Jennifer Harman, JJ Liu, Kathy Liebert, Nani Dollison and Phyllis Caro. Currently, JJ Liu and Harman are the best placed.
Indeed, everyone knows the talents of these two poker pros. Jennifer Harman is the only woman who has earned two World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets besides her success in the 41st stage of the WSOP, during which she was qualified in two final tables. She is currently recording more than $ 2.3 million earnings in tournament and this lady had acquired an important place in the hearts of fans as she is also a generous poker player. She is effectively member of many charities. As for JJ Liu, she also recorded a huge gain of $ 2,190,467 during her career. She achieved also two final tables at the WSOP 2010. Despite the praise given to these two women, the other players are also true pros poker players and could well be part of this association, to mention that Kathy Liebert is the first having won a huge gain of one million dollars for her magnificent victory at Party Poker Million.
