John Juanda: An upward feat in the World Series of Poker
The Indonesian poker pro John Juanda is going from success to success during the 2010 edition of the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Early in the tournament, he has done wonderful performance. Indeed, on June 1st, Juanda finished in the 4th place of the tournament Players Championship of $ 50,000 buy-in in front of a field of 116 participants. An excellent performance which earned him a gain of $ 436,865. A week later, he came in the 5th place in the $ 10,000 Seven Card Stud Hi / Lo with 116 players who were facing. Juanda has pocketed $ 97,989 for the occasion. On June 11th, he reiterated the same feats as being the 4th runner on the Event No Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball Championship, during which he received a premium of $ 78,088. His most recent success on the poker tables date to last Monday during which he finished in 3rd place in the HORSE tournament. It was an outstanding competition won by Phil Ivey but which let Juanda pocketed $ 129,553.
In fact, this 39 years poker ace has shown his great talent and his great skill to the game of poker. Son of a real passionate of gambling, Juanda left Indonesia to continue his studies at the University of Oklahoma, but he discovered a passion for poker. And since 1997, during which he cashed his first jackpot, Juanda has not stopped winning at poker. Among his awards include four WSOP bracelets, one of which was won at the WSOP Europe Main Event. Juanda has recorded $ 10 million gain in his participation in live tournaments and this great journey at the WSOP 2010 will further enhance his status as the best player.
