WPT : Nomination of Matt Savage
Everyone knows the decline that the World Poker Tour (WPT) has experienced recently. To enhance its image, the CEO of the tournament, Steve Huller, called the great talent and innovative ideas of Matt Savage and named him to the post of Executive Director of the tournament. This decision has been revealed to the public last Wednesday, June 16th in a press release. In fact, Matt Savage has earned a strong reputation in the poker world. He has been widely recognized through his position as presenter of the show "Inside Poker" and his presence attracted considerable attention in the Warner Bros. film entitled "Lucky You". He also demonstrated his serious involvement in the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star as the founder of the Association of Directors of the tournaments. And these numerous achievements were rewarded when he received the first Award Benny Binion.
His nomination at this post thus is not a coincidence because Steve Huller count highly on him to realize a professional work that will seek to rebuild the image of the WPT in the eyes of the poker community. Thus, Savage said he will bring huge changes to how this great tournament will happen in the future. He will ensure that the WPT will become a rare meeting on the front cover of all media to awaken again the enthusiasm of fans of the game for the tournament. Impatient to start his new activities after this nomination, Matt Savage did not hide his enthusiasm and his joy at being elected Executive Director of WPT.
