Poker events : Many interesting programs despite the world championship
While the World Series of Poker 2010 in Las Vegas scored four victories of British players and 35 bracelets awarded on the evening of June 20th, 2010 on the 57 expected until mid-July of this year, many other international poker events are not far behind. There were among others the first coronation of the young Swede of 27 years, William Thorson at the Baltic Festival. Indeed, in the Main Event tournament held in Tallinn, Estonia from last 16th to 19th June, in the final duel, which has clashed him with Dominykas Karmazin, Thorson managed to win the title. With this victory, he won the 80,823 dedicated to the winner, which represents just over 1.2 million Estonian kroons, the first major victory of the young player.
In the same register, other international poker events are announced, including the continuation of the season 1 of the North American Poker Tour (NAPT) of Los Angeles to be held at the Bicycle Casino from the 12th to 17th November 2010. For this fourth stage of the NAPT of the year, the $ 5k Main Event No-Limit Hold'em will run for five days, a great innovation in this tournament. Furthermore, the High Heel Poker Tour (HHPT), a new brand tournament dedicated to women which had made its entry into the WSOP could also be selected for the Maven Award of the best poker tournaments. Its founder Lauren Failla has also been nominated for the award of the International Women in Gaming Star. And in the World Poker Tour news, the promotion of Matt Savage as Chief Executive of the tournament was not gone unnoticed, but this task that does not stop him from pursuing his other obligations including his job as director of the tournament at Bay 101.
