WSOP: A graduate of the University of Missouri Champion
The World Series of Poker (WSOP) continues to crown of talented players. Some champions are well known by the poker community while others are young prodigies or newcomers in the game. Jeff Tebbens is concerned by this second case. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri in 1994, and sells medical devices in Overland Park, Kansas. He participated in the $ 1,000 No-Limit Hold'em Championship event of the WSOP 2010. This nerd from Kansas has been absent from work last Monday to try his luck. He never imagined to reach the final stage, but ultimately, he proved he was powerful enough to dominate the broad field of 3,289 players and be on the table among the final nine players most deserving of the event. Tebbens told that the game was actually very stressful and this global tournament saw the participation of famous players who have gained considerable experience like Daniel Negreanu, Jennifer Harman, Men Nguyen and Phil Hellmuth.
Jeff Tebbens didn't hide that this is one of the most wonderful experiences of his life and in addition, the atmosphere was good since the beginning in the competition. During the four days of the tournament, Jeff defended well his chips and effort associated with his great talent were finally rewarded since he clinched the title at the end, the grand prize of $ 503,389 and the prestigious WSOP bracelet after ousting JD McNamara during the final duel. We must also admit that luck was on his side. Thus, Tebbens just discovered a fairly exceptional way to earn money but for now, he plans to spend his huge win with his family.
