BPT 2010: Towards a head's up between Zerbib and Debureau
During the day of Monday, May 24th, 2010, 114 players competed in the Casino de Trouville during the Main Event of the Barrière Poker Tour Trouville, a live poker tournament of 1,650 buy-in for a prize pool of 171,000. At the end of the Day 1, William Cescut, chip leader has maintained his status of owner of the biggest stack after having eliminated the player sponsored by Barrière, Bruno Benveniste at the 10th place with a gain of 2,470. He finished fourth in the first stage and won 12,300. What makes this competition unique is that the nine players who reached the final table have agreed to distribute the prize pool in equal shares, 17,500.
Furthermore, it was agreed that two additional tickets will be played during the final head's up between the two best player in this BPT 2010 ranking. This head's up will be played by Pierre Zerbib, who is a regular at the Casino de Trouville and Arnaud Debureau. This highly anticipated duel of the Barriere Poker Tour 2010 will run from November 11th to 14th, 2010 in Enghien-Les-Bains. But during the last stage, the winner Zerbib and the runner-up Debureau have respectively pocketed 56,600 and 36,100 in addition to the obtaining of tickets for this final duel. Daniel Aubert, third in the ranking has won 21,300. In the fourth place with a gain of 12,300 is Guillaume Cescut. The five other guests at the final table are Marc Rigaud ( 8,200), Eric Fourniols ( 6,600), Angelo Besnainou ( 4,900), Zagury Haim ( 3,870) and Cedric Ponton (2,900 ).
