WPT Spanish Championship: Looking for the successor of Randal Flowers
And the World Poker Tour Europe is once again on the road after a few days of respite for the players. Indeed, after the WPT Grand Prix de Paris, the WPT Spanish Championship takes over at the Casino Barcelona from May 19th until May 23rd for a period of five days which will end during the day of Pentecost, day when the final table will be held. All this enter in the second phase of its new 2010/2011 season. The success is already pointing his nose for the second day of the World Poker Tour Spanish Championship when one considers the fact that during Day 1A of May 19th, the attendance rate is estimated at 78% of the total participants of 2009. The logic provides for a gradual growth in the number of participants as with the progress of the competition for the rest of the program.
The first day of this WPT saw the participation of famous players. During the five days of competition, participants are entitled to 15,000 chips with levels of 60 minutes. To return to the launch day of the Spanish stage, the starting line saw up to 134 players, including the French Antoine Saout, Dragan Galic, Leo Margetts, Sorel Mizzi or Steven Van Zadelhoff. For information, Randal Flowers was the big winner of the 2009 edition and the question which ask an answer today is : Whom of these competitors will get the title and the ticket for the final destination at the Bellagio with the $ 25,000 prize ?
