CNIC: A weekend at Bourbon l'Archambault
The French Championnat National Individuel des Clubs (CNIC or Individual National Championship of Clubs) will be held in one of the wonderful properties of the group Vikings in Bourbon l'Archambault, in Allier, France this weekend. This competition is organized by the Club of Clubs (CoC), an association created to develop poker and which groups many affiliates across France. The CNIC will face up to the 400 best poker players from various clubs in France affiliated to the CoC. To achieve this huge event, the club has reserved a budget of 35,000 Euro to the transport of participants. This means that as their usual, enthusiastic organizers do all the possible to reduce the costs of accommodation and food for participants.
Because this is a national final, press coverage is an absolute necessity. Thus, the CoC has offered to take over the hosting a,d the meal of press agents who come there and they are likely to have already confirmed their presence. The Main Event will run for three days and it will be divided into Day 1 and Day 2. To participate, competitors must pay the buy-in of 48 Euro. Moreover, in order to satisfy the many fans of the game that will attend the competition, the organizers propose four side events with modest prices. It would be superfluous to say that the preparation of this event is a true professional work because everything has been done so far to accommodate the passionate of poker throughout France. Thus, the casino Vikings will become a warm poker room where the public will have the leisure to admire the parties from the tribune designed specifically for the occasion.
