High Stakes: Over $ 1,000,000 for Gus Hansen
The week of May the first to the 8th has not been easy for pokermen in high stakes. A week full of events marked by ups and downs of players who are always on the lookout for new challenges. In Saturday's final capped PLO 500/1000, Ziigmund has had a positive result of $ 387,000, Urindanger of $ 203,000 and TheAshman103 of $ 159.000. The evening was beneficial for them, especially for Gus Hansen, who has reached the pinnacle of earnings with more than one million dollars. Among the losers include exceptionally Tom Dwan and Phil Ivey with negative $ 540 k and $ 250k respectively.
Here is a flashback of the week just ended: the American Tom Dwan who, more than two weeks ago had a cumulative gain of more than $ 7 million was supposed to cross the milestone of $ 10 million but bad luck, he has lost more than $ 3 million and has no longer in balance than $ 4.3 million. For Patrick Antonius, these last weeks have been marked by a series of losses, which adds another $ 330 k in PLO recently, however, a general appraisal of the year show him positive of $ 48,000 thanks to the day of May 4th. This is a result which relieves light of its 4 million loss a week ago. The comeback of Isildur is also to follow closely. There was his winner session with Jungleman12 in 50/100 with a positive result of $ 25K, then a long session of 100/200 with a loss of $ 138k in Hold'em against UrnotINdanger2 with another defeat worth $ 55K in PLO capped.
