WPT Paris Day 1A : Success of Fabrice Touil
The big festival of the World Poker Tour Grand Prix de Paris had begun in the famous French gambling club Aviation Club de France (ACF) on Saturday, May 8th. They were 106 poker enthusiasts to have stepped into the ACF to participate in this competition that deserted for some time the French ground. Competitors received each 30,000 starting chips for 90 minutes of play and at the end of this first day of battle, it remained only 53 players in contention. A galaxy of stars filled the field of 106 participants, but because of luck or skill, some of them have to abandon the party early. This was the case of Allan Baekke, Ludovic Lacay, Nicolas Levi and Oliver Busquet. However, few big players have been able to qualify for further competition as Antoine Saout, Antony Lellouche, Anton Wigg, Arnaud Mattern, Jim Collopy and Fabrice Touil who has particularly shined.
Indeed, this day 1A of the WPT Grand Prix de Paris has recorded remarkable performance of Fabrice Touil. Advantaged by good cards in hand since the beginning of the tournament, he realized a very good poker and showed amazing and unique game against his opponents who were also very clever. Touil amassed a stack of 206,000 chips to Marc Inizan, a feat that earned him the place of chip leader during the first day. Other players have also shone as Nicolas Babel.
