France Poker Series : A successful first stage
Beaulieu-sur-Mer has welcomed on the 1st and the 2nd May the France Poker Series during which Jose Barbero emerged victorious in front of a field mostly formed by French players. He won the large sum of 40,123 against Philippe Zunino, whom for his part was at the most beautiful phase of his career with 24,231 earnings. Although the buy-in was not too high, the event attracted a good number of quality players. Teammates like Arnaud Mattern, ElkY and Thomas Bichon were part of this poker tournament. Famous faces were also honored at this tournament like Alan Roberts, Antonin Teisseire, Fabrice Soulier, Roger Hairabedian and Tristan Clémençon.
Four amateurs have managed to be among the winners in the final results of the table. In the third place, Emmanuel Kahan pocketed the tidy sum of 17,308 just before Imed Ben Mahmoud and his 12,588. Alain Roy and Antonin Teisseire who were prominent during the first edition of the Partouche Poker Tour were respectively found in the fifth and the sixth place, with the first 10,227 and the second with 8,497. Steven Maurouard, amateur is found at the eighth place with a gain of 5,507 and Karim Benani who finished ninth at the final ranking with 4,248. For the next meeting, the appointment will be scheduled for the next 25th and 26th September in the region of Divonne-les-Bains. It is possible that other tournaments will be added and all this can only be beneficial for France Poker Series, for the quality of players and the popularity of the event.
