HSP Season 6 : The prevailing attitudes of the players
Where were the players and their psychology during the eleventh episode of season 6 of High Stakes Poker ? How do they behave and what is their chance to climb the ladder ? The number of international heavyweights remain subjugated until this point. Are still in the race Daniel Negreanu, David Benyamine, Doyle Brunson, Bretrand "ElkY" Grospellier, Eli Elezra, Mike Matusow, Phil Galfond, Phil Ivey and Tom Dwan. The games are becoming increasingly tight and aggression is at its peak for some players. The case of Daniel Negreanu seems to be the most phenomenal, unlike Tom Dwan, while Benyamine stands up to his pursuers and Grospellier maintains self-control.
According to some critics, the Canadian is in very bad shape today, even since the beginning of the tournaments. A lack of optimism is charged to him. He behaves as a looser who has lost breath to judge his reactions during his game against Mike Matusow that brought into play two huge pots. And that is why he would show that aggressiveness which is not free from unnecessary risks. A recovery in his hand is desired. However, David Benyamine is commended for his ability to maintain the lead pack. As for ElkY, his situation seems not to provoke any criticism and can even say that the distrust that his opponents have against him is to his advantage. And forGalfond, luck is considered as lenient to let him win a few pots.
