International Poker Open: The event is back for 2010
The Irish International Poker Open (IPO) is with any doubt the biggest amateur poker tournament of Europe. The biggest no-limit hold'em live poker event is back, and this return appears to be even more sensational than last year. Tournament organizers have announced on Wednesday the return of the Irish International Poker Open to be held from October 15th to 17th at the Regency Hotel in Dublin. The organizers have also indicated that 20,000 will be added to the prize pool this year, which would push the total to 250,000. Paul Spillane, a member of staff, said: "Last year we set a record in the area's largest live tournament ever held in Europe. With innovations such as VIP seats and additional 20,000 of value added, we are confident that the 2010 event would be just as popular. "
The freezeout 180 + 20 will be held for three days, players can add 2,000 more chips to the 8,000 chips starting via games online and exclusive freerolls. The edition of the Irish International Poker Open of last year was a total success because it attracted a record field of 1,440 players from 18 countries. In the end, the German Markus Sippe won the title and a gain of $ 62,250. To avoid the disappointments of last year, it is recommended to players to register as soon as possible.
