Sidebet: Is two WSOP bracelets possible in two years for Ivey ?
He has already won almost everything in his short career, and his list of conquests no longer envied those of the greatest players of all time, he even had at one of his shelf poker trophy which is the most impressive. Now the Tiger Woods of poker, Phil Ivey, wants to add a little excitement and adrenaline in his life for the next two years. In one of the largest Sidebet of the history of poker, he and Howard Lederer have bet $ 5 million dollars on whether or not Ivey can win a pair of bracelets over the next two or three World Series of Poker (WSOP ).
Some sources say he has two years to accomplish this feat. But on forums around the net, internet viewers say that Ivey must have two bracelets in three years instead of two. Anyway, this is a difficult task for ordinary mortals, and especially when not called Phil Ivey. The legend of poker has seven World Series of Poker bracelet and won two more last year, during the 2009 event. He also take part to the final table of the Main Event. At just 33 years old, he is the youngest player to win seven bracelets, beating "The Poker Brat" by four years. The bet is quite on the ropes of Ivey because there is a total of 80 WSOP bracelets to contend during the period of the bet.
