High Stakes Poker season 6 episode 10 : Avalanche of dirty tricks
If we could briefly summarize the last episode of High Stakes Poker (HSP), it would be "an avalanche of shots to show in the poker schools. One of the best moves was concocted by the patriarch of poker, Doyle Brunson who went all in in a 190BB pot triple-option, and the coup was paying. As for Mike Matusow, he has single-handedly do the show with his eccentricities. As regards Phil Ivey, he quietly left the show. For the episode 10, the casting was particularly impressive because there were only the best of the best of poker : Tom 'durrrr' Dwan, Daniel Negreanu, Doyle Brunson, Mike Matusow, Eli Elezra, Bertrand 'ElkY' Grospellier and David Benyamine, Phil Ivey and a brief passage of his namesake Phil 'OMGClayAiken' Galfond.
In this episode, Matusow was especially good is protecting his chips as a federal bank, he who for the last two episodes has been very small, even invisible. The rest of the table spent their time complaining about his style of "safe". The friendly Canadian Daniel Negreanu was also very fit, and offers us a big duel between him and Mike Matusow. In this adventure, the French champions ElkY and David Benyamine showed their teeth against the American sharks. The French players seem more determined than in the previous episode. And for the best player of poker in the world, Phil Ivey, he has not been at ease during this episode, and his fans will perceive it early in the tournament.
