Women's World Poker Open IV : Philippa Flanders as the new champion

The ladies were honored at the Women's World Poker Open in London. Indeed, they were 24 to start this exceptional poker tournament. The competition started with the sit & go championships for a table of eight players. Each table has revealed two winners and the first six finalists faced off on the final table the day after the competition. Some prominent figures in the women poker world were present during the day of departure as Annette Obrestad, Kara Scott, Lisa or Kim Vigezzi Wooka but unfortunately they were all eliminated.

The final table was then formed by Philippa Flanders, Helen Firth, Caroline Cove, Eliza Burnett, Claire Renaud and Tatjana Pasalic. Despite an exceptional presence accompanied by a very high level of play, the French Claire Renaud had to leave the poker tournament to be ranked in the fifth place with a prize of $ 6,000 after leaving Tatjana Pasalic at the sixth place letting her win a prize of $ 3,000. The fourth place of the final was won by Eliza Burnett with $ 8,000 in her pocket while Caroline Cove took the third place with a prize of $ 10,000. The final head's up was played by Philippa Flanders and Helen Firth. After 30 minutes of play, Flanders dominated the game and was crowned champion of the Women's World Poker Open IV with all the privileges and the reward of $ 30,000 while Firth left the tournament with the half of her gain and the title of vice-champion.
