Irish Poker Open: Kara Scott back on the green land of Ireland
Kara Scott who shaked the poker world last year is back in Ireland. This American woman poker player had mark the last edition of the Irish Poker Open and win at the same time the sum of 310,000 (£ 272,574). For those who do not know, Kara Scott is the reincarnation of glamorous, star of television presenter and journalist in her daily occupation and a successful poker player. Last year she finished second in the Irish Poker Open, she lost the head'up final against the winner of the tournament Christer Johansson. She announced that she will indeed be present at the event this year.
A native of Canada, Kara has lived some time in England before moving to California, which is her current home. She has hosted numerous shows; from backgammon to poker and recently, she appeared on Sky Poker. Finally, she decided she had enough of the show, and she put all her activities on hold, she focuses on her career as a professional poker player where she proved that she is a formidable player after winning in total more than half a million dollars in live poker tournaments. The Irish Poker Open is the oldest Hold'em tournaments in Europe, it dates back to 1981 and players from the four corners of the world frequent it. In size, it is ahead by the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Its sponsor has begun to sponsor the event in 2005.
